Dear Fellow Devotees of Our Lady,

Today, January 23, 2017, marks the great feast of the espousal of Mary and Joseph.  In addition to all of the traditional ways of marking the celebration of a great Catholic Holy Day, such as participating in the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, receiving our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, cleansing our souls in the marvelous Sacrament of Penance, if necessary (then again, when is it not necessary?!), renewing our total consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary – in the spirit of St. Joseph, praying the most efficacious of all prayers – the most holy Rosary of our Lady…

In addition to all of these marvelous suggestions, let us additionally resolve to engage in some holy activity that will bear a great witness to the world of our deep love for and absolute commitment to not only our Lord and our Lady, but also to the marvelous and much derided truths of our holy faith, particularly those truths pertaining to the sanctity of the institution and Sacrament of Marriage as a holy and blessed union between one man and one woman.

This, my friends, we can do by resolving to commit ourselves to accepting an invitation from America Needs Fatima to organize a Rosary Rally in support of the true meaning of marriage.  I received the following invitation this morning, and I would like to pass it along to you, the reader.  I ask you to open your heart to this marvelous invitation by responding with as much generosity as the Lord moves you to.

May our Lord and our Lady bless you with every spiritual blessing under the heavens for your deep fidelity to and love for the holy truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Support God’s Marriage

Dear Mr. Brunelle,      It is a war.     There are those doing everything to destroy marriage and the family and those defending it and standing up for it no matter what.      It is the old story. You are either for Christ or against Him.      As I write, prayer warrior are gearing up for 3,000+ rosary rallies in public locations all across America this March in defense of God’s marriage, praying and saying: Marriage = One man + one woman!      I am writing you today to ask for your support, your prayers and sacrifices.      January 23rd is the Feast day of the Betrothal of Our Lady and Saint Joseph – the perfect models.      Sadly, you and I know how the Sacrament of marriage has suffered in the hands of a Christ-less culture…      In 1888 the Supreme Court ruled that marriage is “an institution in the maintenance of which in its purity the public is deeply interested, for it is the foundation of the family and of society, without which there would be neither civilization nor progress.”      Then in 1942 that same high court said that marriage is “fundamental to the very existence and survival of the race.” Click here to help ANF restore the value of marriage in our culture      But today? It appears that marriage has gone to the dogs, quite literally.      Take, for example, Michael Hughson who has been in “a serious relationship” with his dog Shady for over 4 years.      Michael says he is only asking for equal dignity in the eyes of the law.      The Supreme Court ruled that people have the right to marry whomever or whatever they love.      Michael Hughson says “if love is love and everyone wants equality then everyone should have the right to marry anything and whatever they love.”      Jayson, you and I can see how ridiculous this is. But sadly many in our culture cannot.      And that is where our Traditional Marriage Rosary Rallies come in!      Following the example of Saint John the Baptist, a voice that cries out in the wilderness, we will always and faithfully proclaim that God’s marriage is the only and true Marriage.      Jayson, it is a point of fidelity to our Creator. Without the family, as the Supreme Court said in 1888, “there would be neither civilization nor progress.”      But how can we fight back?      By the supernatural power of the Holy Rosary.  Because there is no problem, no matter how grave, that the rosary cannot solve, as the Blessed Mother told Sister Lucia in Fatima.      So, we MUST turn to the rosary to win this historic spiritual battle.
